Located in Elizabeth West South Australia Dinnings Foundry covers an area of 4 hectacres.

Which includes the foundry (2650 m2)

Pattern storage facility (450 m2)

Administration (450 m2)

 

Melting

 

Operating two 2 tonne electric induction melting furnaces Dinnings Foundry has the capacity to pour 5.5 tonnes net in a single pour of Iron and 1.5 tonnes net of steel.

Moulding

With the use of 1off 15 tonne per hour and 2off 4 tonne per hour continuous sand mixers moulds are produced in hard sand in various sizes of mould boxes.                                                                                                       Maximum mould box size is 4200 X 3000 X 3500 deep.

Heat Treatment

Normalising, Annealing, Stress relieving & Tempering.                                   Dinnings Foundry operate a  2.2 x 2.2 x2.2 Metre programmable Gas fired furnace.                                                                                                            We offer this facility for use to all metal fabricators, machine shops, etc.

Shot Blast

Shot blast facilities include a “walk in” blast room 4000 x 4000 x 2400 high as well as a rotating Roto Blast for small castings.
