Melting

 

Operating two 2 tonne electric induction melting furnaces Dinnings Foundry has the capacity to pour 5.5 tonnes net in a single pour of Iron and 1.5 tones net of steel.

Moulding

All moulds are produced in chemically bonded (hard sand)      With the use of 1off 15 tonne per hour and 2off 4 tonne per hour continuous sand mixers.

Maximum mould box size is 4200 X 3000 X 3500 deep.

Heat Treatment

Normalising, Annealing, Stress relieving & Tempering.       Dinnings Foundry operate a  2.2 x 2.2 x2.2 Metre Gas fired furnace.
